Asembl brewed up a world first for Perfetti Van Melle’s Chupa Chups with a collaboration with global boba tea franchise Chatime, seeing Chupa Chups’ bestselling lollipop flavours Grape and Strawberry & Cream come to life in delicious boba tea inspired beverages across the national store network.The multi phased campaign was integrated across the Chatime customer journey including printed and digital displays, in T-brewery sampling, EDM, push notification and app, socials and a compelling digital media campaign.

The Result

The results were incredible, exceeding forecasted cup sales by +56%. Grape sold out and became a top 5 Chatime product and best-selling limited time offer. Customers loved it so much they traded up seeing large cup sales over indexing. Chatime successfully reached and engaged with a Gen Z audience delivering 26m+ impressions across paid & organic social media. Loyalty member spending achieved a +4.2% rise and daily app sessions were up by 84%.
